InnoReviews verdict

This one is close to a dead heat: iPhone 16 Pro scores 64 against 64.1 for Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. Pick by the categories that matter to you — Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 edges ahead in features and performance, or by price.

Editor's note

This is a form-factor decision wearing a spec comparison's clothes. The Fold 7 unfolds into an 8-inch workspace nothing in Apple's lineup matches, and it now does so at 215 grams — barely heavier than the 199-gram iPhone. The iPhone 16 Pro answers with the faster single-core chip, a real IP68 rating against the Fold's dust-vulnerable IP48, and $1,000 of savings. Buy the Fold for the screen you unfold; buy the iPhone for everything else.
