Intel Core Ultra 9 185H
Meteor Lake's flagship rebuilt the Intel laptop chip around tiles: 16 cores, a genuinely fast Arc iGPU, and Intel's first NPU. The catch is CPU throughput that barely clears the i7-13700H it nominally replaced.
Pros
- Arc iGPU roughly doubles Iris Xe gaming performance
- 16 cores with a power-sipping LP-E island
- Intel's first H-series NPU for on-device AI
- Strong burst responsiveness
Cons
- Multi-core barely ahead of the i7-13700H
- Single-core regressed from Raptor Lake peaks
- NPU falls short of Copilot+ requirements
- Needs 45W-plus to stretch its legs
